For me, Shibari is primarily about communication, forging deep connections, and the unique tension that truly brings ropes to life.

In my style, there is no “passive” side that simply receives; instead, it is a dynamic interplay of listening and expression. Leadership is rarely forced; rather, control is built piece by piece through a series of subtle invitations. To achieve this, I draw on my extensive background in martial arts, blending technical precision with deep empathy and passion.

I teach regularly at my Shibari Dōjō in Munich, in addition to offering workshops and private tuitions. My teaching style is informed by years of experience running my Ninjutsu Dōjō, which allows me to adapt flexibly to the skill level and input of my students.

After years of studying with different teachers across Europe, I started teaching and performing Shibari in 2021. Since then, I have studied consistently under Ren Yagami, earning the “Shoden” certification in the Yagami Ryu in 2025, followed by becoming an official Instructor the following year.
